intellixx is seeking Business Analysts with Functional experience gained in the capital markets industry working for a software vendor or consultancy. This should include support and/or implementation of Front and/or Middle and/or Back Office Systems and for Derivatives in one or more of FX, Interest Rates, Credit or Equity.

Skills & Requirements:

• Working in systems or business analysis, preferably in the capital markets industry.
• Detailed hands-on knowledge about industry-standard front office standards for market data management (bootstrapping algorithm), trade capture, pricing (Black-Scholes, Cox-Ross), and risk (Monte Carlo, VAR).
• Functional experience should encompass any or all of the following asset classes: credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, equity derivatives, fixed income, or FX.
• The ability to read code will be highly valued, and experience designing/building front office systems will be especially valuable. Some knowledge of Java or C/C++ will be very useful.
• The ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities.
• Should be able to translate front office business requirements into actual system configuration.

Responsibilities:

• In-depth, hands-on involvement directly with customers implementing Front-/Back-Office system  solution.
• Gather and document customer business requirements in order to implement them technically. Follow up with the users to test the implementation, achieve signoff, and continue to move the system toward go-live.
• Configurate and test to ensure that it meets the business requirements. This will include areas such as setup of market data, pricing parameters and trade capture options that drive the valuation of trades based on the market data. 
• Assist customers in identifying functional gaps in the core front or back office product. 

intellixx is seeking Technical Analysts with relevant work experience in the capital markets or at a financial software company. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills with enterprise application experience. 

Skills & Requirements:

• Working in systems or technical analysis, preferably in the capital markets industry
•  Experience in commercial software including Java/J2EE, C/C++, Swing, JDBC, RMI, J2EE, Linux, Sybase, XML (exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered)
• Excellent object-oriented analysis, design & development skills
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL including working experience with Sybase and/or Oracle
• Preference for domain experience in developing software or implementing software in support of any or all of the following asset classes: credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, equity derivatives, fixed income, or FX.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.  The person in this role will spend significant amounts of time working hands-on educating and training customers, and patience will be key to success.

Responsibilities:

• In-depth, hands-on involvement directly with customers implementing Front-/Back-Office system solution. A key responsibility for assistance and  implementation of users’ requirements.  The technical analyst will then typically follow up with the users to test the implementation, achieve sign off, and continue to move the system toward go-live.
• Assist developers in understanding the API requirements to extend and build interfaces with other systems.
• Work hands on with the system, configuring it and testing that it meets the customer’s technical requirements.
• Work with business analysts  to code prototypes of enhancements to ensure they will meet business requirements.
• Some technical project management work will be expected.  In particular, managing the technical issues and tracking the timeline of technical deliverable, in order to keep the customer informed of progress. 
• Assist customers with development of their own internal project plan, including identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline and scheduling, and resource requirements.
